Leon Rozanski (known as Leo to American family) was the son of Franciszek and Katarzyna Wilinska, and was born 24.08.1893 in Zwolen (previously Donerszrue), region Lucien, county Gostynin. He finished primary school and four classes of secondary school before he emigrated to the USA in 1911 via New Jersey . First, he stayed at Ignacy’s son Boleslaw in Armada ( Michigan ), who had come to the USA earlier. He worked in the Ford Motor Company in Detroit . Most of his life he worked as a car fitter, but also he worked in the paper factory in Mosinee. His first long-term address was in Kronenwetter, or Rt. 2 Mosinee, WI. In 1954 he have bought a farm at Rt. 1 Box 99 Middlefield , Ohio with about 150 acres. He married Maria Balcer in USA in 14.05.1918 and they had four children. Leo Rozanski died November 5, 1971 and he is buried in All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio.
